1. Account Creation & Google Sign-In

Google Authentication: AnthroPoint utilizes Google Sign-In as its single sign-on authentication mechanism. To create an account and log in, users must explicitly agree to the Community Guidelines, Privacy Policy, and Terms & Conditions.

Information Collected: We collect your name/username, profile pictures, email address, profile descriptions, selected tags, and up to 5 uploaded portfolio images across our 5 designated categories (Artists, Commissions, Fursuit Makers, Fvns, and YouTubers).

2. AI Safety Scans & Automated Moderation

Llama 3.2 11B Safety Scanning: Uploaded images are automatically scanned using Llama 3.2 11B technology specifically to detect, block, and filter NSFW image uploads before they reach public site feeds.

Non-AI Text Safeguards: Non-AI safeguard filters actively check for NSFW language and prohibited speech in bios and tags.

Report Data: Information provided in moderation reports is processed strictly to review policy violations and maintain platform safety.

3. How We Use Your Data

Platform Display: To render your creator profile cards and display your uploaded portfolio items across site categories.

Algorithmic Sorting: Viewer interactions are used by automated algorithms to rank creator cards across 6 discovery systems. View counting strictly registers one profile page view per IP address per 24 hours (repeat visits within 24 hours are throttled, and a visit after 24 hours registers as a new view). Some ranking algorithms have undergone slight adjustments to align them more closely with AnthroPoint's goals. The six ranking systems and their exact formulas/metrics are:

Trending: Velocity-weighted engagement score based on Views, Likes, and item creation timestamp.

New: Reverse chronological sorting formula based on Item Creation Timestamp.

Current Popularity: Reddit "Hot" formula (logarithmic time-decay) weighing Likes against time.

Current Quality: Time-decayed exponential moving average based on Likes and Views.

All-Time Popularity: Bayesian/weighted composite score based on Followers, Likes, and Views.

All-Time Quality: Wilson score interval based on Likes and Views.

Communication: To send essential platform updates, respond to inquiry emails, or deliver moderation notices.

4. Data Sharing & Third Parties

Social Media Promotion: With your consent granted under our Terms & Conditions, uploaded artwork may be featured on AnthroPoint's official social media platforms.

External Service Providers: We do not sell user data. Data processing is limited to functional infrastructure (hosting, Google Sign-In, and safety moderation tools).

5. Age & Eligibility Requirements

AnthroPoint is intended for users who meet the minimum legal age requirement in their jurisdiction or have parental consent. Users must be at least 13 years of age (or older, where required by local law) to register an account, utilize Google Sign-In, or upload content to the platform.
