Welcome to AnthroPoint. By accessing, logging into, or using our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By logging in via Google Sign-In, you verify that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions, the Community Guidelines, and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use the website.

2. License Grant for Social Media Promotion

Promotional Permission: By uploading artwork and media to AnthroPoint, you grant AnthroPoint a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to re-post and feature your uploaded artwork on AnthroPoint's official social media accounts (including Twitter/X, Bluesky, and other official AnthroPoint channels).

Intent & Attribution: This license is granted strictly for the purpose of advertising your artwork, driving exposure to your AnthroPoint portfolio, and growing your follower base. AnthroPoint guarantees that credit will always be explicitly given to your official social media account or AnthroPoint profile.

Copyright Ownership: You retain full copyright ownership of all original artwork uploaded to AnthroPoint.

3. Development, AI Assistance & Design Disclosures

Vibe Coded Architecture: The site codebase was "vibe coded" using Qwen 3.6 26b, Qwen 3.8 27b, and Gemini 3.8 Flash within VS Code. AI technology was used solely as a coding assistant inside VS Code.

Human Design & Wireframes: All wireframes, color palettes, website layout, and overall concepts were created directly by the site creator and Xenres. Dark mode was designed by the creator; Light mode was designed by Xenres. No artwork, site wireframes, or layout structures were AI-generated.

4. Portfolio Structure & Ranking Algorithms

Category Caps: Users may create a profile featuring up to 5 images in each of 5 categories: Artists, Commissions, Fursuit Makers, Fvns, and YouTubers, along with custom bios and pre-made tags.

Algorithmic Display: Cards are dynamically displayed and sorted into ranking views (Trending, New, Current Popularity, Current Quality, All-Time Popularity, and All-Time Quality) driven by view count (throttled to 1 view per IP address per 24 hours), likes, followers, and timestamps according to system-specific mathematical formulas.

5. Patreon & Future Creator Donations

AnthroPoint plans to offer Patreon perks featuring Safe For Work (SFW) furry content donated by supporting creators.

Donating creators must execute a separate formal written contract with AnthroPoint covering legal requirements prior to content inclusion on Patreon.

6. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

AnthroPoint provides the platform "as is". While automated AI image scanning (Llama 3.2 11B) and text guardrails are maintained to keep the site SFW and appropriate for all ages, AnthroPoint assumes no liability for unmoderated content prior to user reporting and removal.

User Transactions & Marketplace Disclaimer: AnthroPoint functions solely as a passive discovery network to assist creators in displaying their portfolios and services. AnthroPoint does not directly facilitate, process, manage, or act as an intermediary for transactions, payments, commissions, or sales between users. All business dealings, financial transactions, agreements, and communications are strictly between the individual users involved and are conducted entirely at your own risk. AnthroPoint expressly disclaims all liability and responsibility for any financial loss, fraud, scams, unfulfilled commissions, or disputes arising between users.

7. DMCA & Copyright Takedown Policy

AnthroPoint respects intellectual property rights and adheres to notice-and-takedown procedures under applicable copyright law. If you believe your copyrighted work has been uploaded or used without authorization, please submit a formal DMCA takedown notice to anthropoint@gmail.com containing: (a) identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed, (b) identification of the infringing material and its site location, and (c) your contact information. Upon receipt of a valid notice, AnthroPoint will act promptly to remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing material.

8. Limitation of Liability & Indemnification

The platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, AnthroPoint, its creators, and operators shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use of the site or third-party content uploads. You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless AnthroPoint and its creators from any claims, liabilities, losses, or expenses arising from your content uploads, site usage, or violation of these Terms.

9. Account Termination & Suspension Rights

AnthroPoint administrators reserve the absolute right to suspend, terminate, or restrict access to any user account or hide uploaded content at any time, with or without prior notice, for conduct violating these Terms, the Community Guidelines, or applicable laws, or to protect the safety and integrity of the platform. Upon account suspension or banning due to policy violations, users are locked out of their accounts, their profiles and content are hidden from public view, and the associated data and content are retained within our database for administrative, safety, and compliance records.

10. Modifications to Terms

AnthroPoint reserves the right to revise or update these Terms & Conditions and the Privacy Policy at any time. Continued access to or use of the website following the posting of any changes constitutes full acceptance of the revised terms.

11. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms & Conditions and any action arising out of them shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States and the State of Missouri, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any legal action or proceeding arising under these Terms shall be brought exclusively in the federal or state courts located within the State of Missouri, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction and venue of such courts.

12. Account Deletion & Data Erasure

Users have the right to delete their account at any time. Upon account deletion, all personal data, profile information, and uploaded portfolio content associated with the account will be permanently removed from the website and servers.
